Kyosho Ultima RB6 Thread

I love my rb6's. I have 3 one rear motor, one mid motor and one I used for a Novak point series. The point series car will likely go up for sale, don't really need 3 pulse the SC6 and ZX6 are coming out soon.

I talked to the guys at Kyosho America and they said the ZX-6 will be available next month. Can't wait!!!!!!!

The only bad thing is I am sure it will be over $1000 to get both the SC6 and ZX6.

What setup are you running on the rb6.

Where are you guys getting the LW chassis? I see it listed on the Kyosho USA site but it's shown as "not for sale". Does anyone have them in stock or are we waiting for the next batch to come out in February?

You should try running the MIP "Pucks" Kyosho Ultima RB6 Drive System.  Drive system is an aluminum based drive train system that includes aluminum diff outdrives.  The decrease in weight directly results in quicker acceleration, deceleration, and lower motor temperature. I just bought the drive system it handles better I recommend buying it.

I am running the puck system in my RB6 (rear and mid), RT6 and SC-R SP. I agree it is a great hop-up for any car in stock class.

I use exotek steering, battery hold down, Shock standoffs, front caster blocks and ti front axles. Almost for got shock towers on the mid car.

What about the ST Racing parts have you tried those out? Do you know if any of those exotek rb6 parts will fit the Ultima scr-sp?

I have also used several STRC parts, my scr-sp has there steering, rear hubs and rear (rf, rr) hinge pin holders.

I know the exotek caster blocks (with rb6 inserts), shock stand-offs and hinge pin holders will work on the scr-sp. There are likely other parts that will work also.

Of the cars I have owned the RB6 fits my driving style the best. The quality of the parts is the best, durability is great. I have been driving the rb6 for over a year and I have only broke 3 parts ( shock end, rear arm and front pivot block)
