According to the photo, the SCT410.3 truck is technically not a full re-design (as some rumors claimed it would be) as it uses the existing chassis, HOWEVER, it does include new shock towers, arms, suspension geometry, motor mount, drivetrain, and more. In our book, that qualifies as slightly more than your average “update”.
The new EB48SL is a “Super Light” buggy. The Super Light 1/8 buggy scene has become more and more popular for indoor racing, and utilizes 2S LiPos and 4wd SCT motors. The new SL features a list of lightweight aluminum parts, LCG motor mount, and more.
It would appear the new vehicles will be available in the Spring, 2015. Technically the first day of spring is only days away, therefore these vehicles could be officially released any day now. Stay tuned for more details!
