Ya, I run them in my SC10 4x with the Pro 4 HD motors.. These are in My opinion. The best racing 8th scale esc out..

What pinon gear do you run on the Tekin motor?

between 13 and 15 depends on the track and conditions im running. I mainly stay with the 14

I dont. I have it in my SC 4x4 and it has plenty with out it.

rx8 but why doesn't the fan turn on.

By Default the fan only turns on when it's needed. On the Rx8 Gen2 you can in the Hotwire change it to "always on" if you choose to.
