The Losi 3.0 has a lightweight, aluminum chassis has been specifically designed for electric power with a motor and battery layout that lowers the center of gravity. This makes it easier to drive fast, corner hard and lower lap times

Are those hubs made from aluminum?

I recently upgraded the Fioroni Tractive IV Gear Set and have also upgraded the Avid RC "Triad" 17mm Light Weight Wheel Nuts. The Avid Triad 17mm Light Weight Wheel Nuts are the lightest 8th scale wheel nuts on the market. The unique Triad design utilizes only three corners of the nut instead of six to reduce weight and protect the laser etched Avid "A's" from being worn off. But don't think this takes away from the torque handling capabilities. With a quality wheel wrench you can crank these puppies down and the serrations will keep them locked securely to the wheel.

How do you like the  Avid RC "Triad" over the stock?

I used to strip the stock Wheel Nuts and have had no issues with the Avid RC Triad Wheel Nuts.
