Here's my old E-Maxx. It was a beast. I traded it to my son for two slashes, one which I still have, sold the 2wd, kept the 4wd and bought another 4wd.

Oops, here are the two 4wd slashes I have now. My pride and joy dune buggy and Blackie, a roller I picked up on CL for $70 for the kids after I sold the 2wd slash. It's alot cheaper to maintain these two than a beast E-Maxx.

What body is that?

The top is a Parma dune buggy for slashes, it's a really thick body. Fits perfect. The bottom I'm not sure of.

Have you tried the Flo-Tek Bodies?

I haven't yet, but I have seen some Flo-Tek's that are sharp. I always watch the lexan thickness. Anything .40-.60 is good, but anything under that, will shred in no time. The Dune Buggy body is as thick as a Proline .60. I just came back in from tuning the esc a little, on 3S anything over half throttle it pulls into a wheelie lol, almost like it's hitting a 2 stroke power band. I think I need to turn the punch back down, it balloons the talons, on take off on pavement. That little 3800Kv Castle whines like crazy lol. Fun truck!

Pro-line bodies seem more durable than Jconcepts.

Yup, I try to stick with Proline, they seem to last much longer. I need to start shooting some HD rc vid again lol. Now that the track is open near me, that would be cool. I have several cameras lol.

Here's one of my original 3906 E-Maxx after I put a 150 amp esc and 2560 Turnigy BL system in it. It eventually evolved into a pure longer wheelbase 3908, the one with the black body on it.

Nice, how does the wheely bar handel?

It worked great after I installed rubber tires. The plastic ones that came on it sucked lol. They allowed it to slide back and forth, where the rubber ones gripped great.
