How does this car compare to the Mugen MBX-7, I know they both use the pivot ball suspension as far handling characteristics are they similar in how they handle? Also how does the Radiosistemi compare to the MP9, Tekno, and Losi.
I have owned or own every car EXCEPT the Losi 3.0. I will be honest with you i dont have alot of time on the RR8. I drove the IMBUE's buggy 1 time and knew I had to get this buggy. The buggy seems like it takes the good from all of the above mention buggies.
MP9- Very Stable, easy to drive hard. Suspension is made by God himself...
MBX7- Precise pillowball steering, but can get a little tale happy. Parts quality and durabilty are great.
Tekno- The other car that I own right now. THe TEKNO was the best buggy I had ever driven until I drove the RR8. My tekno car turns, has traction and is bullet proof.... Nuff Said
RR8- EXTRA stable and sure footed, can push the car as hard as you want. OR back off and notice the cornerspeed that is naturally built into the car. Pillowball front end for precise steering and adjustability. There are 3 parts that are not made it ITALY. Wing,Tank and side guards. They come from the HB12. The car is PURE quality and craftsmanship. THe diffs are big and beefy(spiral cut) Drivetrain is exceptionally free. Only second to the KYOSHO. The outdrives and CVD's are beefy and wear very little. Drivetrain wear is MINIMAL on the car. Todd showed me the car he has been running since last year and it still looks great. Very minimal wear. This car turns, has the adjustable chassis braces( you can either go flex or no flex) so traction is never a problem and the car is a tank. The shocks are butter smooth and 15mm vice the 16mm that most other cars use. You can run the shocks emulsion or with a bladder. You cant go wrong with the car. Peter Martin from TKO products and bearings is running the car in SOcal and he loves it. There is NOTHING that is needed that doesnt come in the box. No hopups, springs is the only thing I can think of. No one has ever regretted running this car... It is the truth and I've been racing for over 10 years. I'm impressed, the marketing machine just doesnt exist for IMBUE but he is fully behind the car 1000% and is around to stay.
The buggy doesnt have a Tebo/Maifield type of driver here in the States so it doesnt get noticed. BUT It has won several EURO Championships. Riccardo Rabbiti(ITALIAN driver) has a video on Neobuggy running the car and its all right there for the world to see on a US style track. The car flat out works....

The car looks planted and glides over the jumps in the video you posted. In your opinion does the car drive more like a Kyosho,Tekno or Mugen? Have you had any problems or heard anyone having problems with the pivot ball popping out.
Kyosho planted with Mugen precision and Tekno steering would about sum it up. I know it sounds too good to be true, but the car flat out works. I was pretty impressed the first time I drove one. Have not heard of any pillowballs popping out. I will ask Todd. The only thing I noticed was the shims inside the diffs that go infont of the oring started to deform. Todd says they have new ones coming or the updated Tekno's will work.
And for the record. I AM NOT SPONSORED BY IMBUE. Just happened to come across this buggy at the first track I went to in Alabama.

If it is the shims that is not a big deal, how does the this car react to a minor setup change. I know some cars you have to adjust tons of things before you feel the car reacting to what you want it to do. Also what is the price on one of these cars?
The car is very responsive to setup changes. But one of the things I noticed is that it doesnt require alot of changes to get right. Its what I call a trunk weapon(pull it from the trunk and battle) Its not the Serpent or any other car that needs a ton of changes depending on the track. One of the other good things about this buggy. The car sells for 729.99 on Todd's site IMBUEMOTORSPORTS.COM and I think its worth that. If will outlast the Kyosho 3 to 1. I drove Kyosho from the 7.5 KIII all the way through the MP9 and the quality of the K car has diminished. Great platform and geometry but the metals and plastics and not as stout as they used to be. But if you are interested in the RR8 let me know.
