I ran Arrow until sponsored by Picco. I also know some regional pro drivers here that were running them and they say that the 3 port runs just as good as the 5. I ran the 3 port at RC Pro Nationals last year and it performed just as well as anyone elses $400 engine. The bearings aren't ceramic and crankshaft isn't silicone filled, nor is the head fin durable quality, but if all you care about is keeping up with the expensive motors on a budget than this is the engine for you. I noticed the carb would want to get a little sticky if not running overly rich, but I only noticed that while the car was in the pit after running. I think the carb lubes up pretty good as long as fuel is going through.

Did the 3 port give up better fuel mileage than the 5 port?

so far I like it. Good punch not much on the top end. Good for small to medium tracks. I did switch the carb, though. I'm running a novarossi carb off of a bonito.

I think the 5port gtr would be good, not the 3 port. But the novarossi btt or keepoff 4 port engine would be great there. In truggy I would go with the keep off 7 port or virtus.
