Yea, nitro is going to stay. The engines does not sound really strong in my opnion. What do you think about tunning, do you think it would be easier or the same to tune?
I don't think it'd be much easier, I'm sure it is the same concept, the only difference is that it has a spark plug instead of a glow plug and it needs a battery to power the spark plug. That makes it just more complicated in my opinion... And the smell of gasoline is way worse than the smell of nitro. Also regular gasoline has a lower energy content than nitro. That's why they use it for top fuel dragsters and things like that. Nitro is just a more energetic fuel.
I think those engines are going to replace the regular engines that we use know. Nitro gas for a gallon is $30 and if you go to the gas station you can get a gallon for under 4 bucks. It's an engine to consider.
They state in the video that it makes 2.2hp and 30000rpm. and it is a .31 engine. A nitro .21 makes 2.5 to about 2.7 hp and higher rpm... I don't think the gas engines will be a success other than rtr models.
