I run the O.S. 21XZ-B V-Spec ad gives me about 7 to 8 minutes of running time. The O.S. 21XZ-B V-Spec is an easy engine to tune and hardly needs tuning. Its one of the best engine I've owned.
I usually run it in a buggy and sometimes I swap into my truggy. This is one of the best engines I've owned. On my truggy I usually run the O.S. Speed 21XZ-B Spec II. The two engines are about the same the XZ-Z is probably to much power for the buggy.

From a buggy I get 7-8 minutes. How do you get 12 min of running time?
I run my engines at about 215-225 degrees, I run the P5 a little bit on the lean side on the bottom end and then adjust the top so it run smooth and consistent. On my OS I lean the bottom as much as I can, not too lean though, and a little leaner on the top than the P5. My first OS lasted over 8 gallons that way. I'm not sure if it makes a big difference, but I live in the desert, the weather is usually warm and very dry...
