Personally I really like the Xray cars, but have heard and read lots of good about the Serpent s411. Another car I have and run is a Thunder Tiger TS4e. I have to say, just out of the box it maybe on of the best cars I've owned. As far as handling and predictability. It is far from a true high competition car, but at a club level I would think it would be competitive. The key to any TC is set-up and practice.

The S411 is a very clean, narrow and sleek design with focus on easy handling, ease of set-up and maintenance. I love that the towers and the chassis is carbon fiber.

I think the XRAY on road cars are probably the best out there, Serpents are also top notch cars.
