Succeeding potential of ‘masterpiece’ O.S.SPEED 21XZ-B and adding further tuning to meet the current racing trend, the “Spec.II” will be released soon.



New drop-in type outer head with special laser marking contributes to lower CG and better cooling efficiency. Each inner part has been modified for smoother acceleration up to top speed. New lighter piston and connecting rod contribute to better response to driver’s throttle operation. Lighter DLC coated, tungsten weight pressed-in and silicone potted crankshaft reduces friction loss further. Further evolved O.S.SPEED 21XZ-B Spec.II is born to win big races.

Has anyone tried the Novarossi 9901 or other pipe on the OS? I am thinking of a shift to OS and was wondering if I can retain the nova pipes.

Honestly I have never tried any Novarossi pipes on my OS. The best pipe for that engine is the OS 2090, I have also heard that Werks 2058 is also a good pipe.

How much running time does the O.S give you?

I can easily do 11 min on a buggy, but I usually pit in after 10 min just to be safe. Now on truggy I can easily do 13 min.

I've tried the the 2060 on the first speed, motor was beast!!!! Everyone says the 2090 is the way to go, ill have to try that pipe someday.

which fuel are you using? currently runnung 30/11 with a 2090 I just got I love this engine!! I was thinking of using 40% see what the engine is like.

To break in use 20 percent. After you have broken in the engine most driver use 30 percent.
